Every Loomy piece begins in the hands of our community in Punjab, India.

Meet the Women of Loomy

Our knits are handmade by a community of 25 women in Punjab, India. Lifelong knitters and crocheters, they come together in our workshop to craft each piece — building independence and connection through their work.

Every stitch carries their skill, patience, and story.

We are proud to be based in Ludihana and Bangalore, India, and Toronto, Canada.

Our Fibres

We work with the world’s finest natural fibres — merino wool, alpaca, mohair, and silk — chosen for their softness, warmth, and longevity. Each yarn is sourced globally and then spun locally in India, where it takes on new life in our Punjab workshop.

From fibre to finished knit, every step is guided by care, tradition, and the belief that what’s made slowly is made to last.

Our Designs

Loomy’s patterns are inspired by India’s rich textile traditions — from the intricate weaves of carpets to the flowing motifs of hand-embroidered scarves. Each knit reinterprets these familiar patterns through a modern lens, blending heritage and play in color, texture, and form.

Every design begins as an idea in our Punjab workshop, where traditional craft meets creative experimentation — honoring the past while creating something distinctly new.

Loomy is modern knits inspired by India’s timeless patterns and everyday beauty.
